About Rodger Waynick

Years ago, my family faced a horrifying legal situation. I was wrongfully arrested and charged with a serious offense. It took everything my family and I had to fight and prevail, but we made it. That life-changing event showed me how the system is against the accused and how difficult it can be to find someone willing to truly fight for you when you need it most. Because of what I lived through, I left my career as an engineering consultant and went to law school. My personal experience proved to me that people needed a warrior to shield them from an aggressive legal system that often uses the law to intimidate average citizens and members of our community.

I take my clients' needs very seriously. That's why I attended and graduated from the prestigious Trial Lawyers College (TLC), became an Instructor in SFST (Standardized Field Sobriety Test), and trained in forensic science laboratory testing techniques and procedures. Our team travels across the country to learn everything we can and to work with the "best of the best" lawyers in the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), DUI Defense Lawyers Association (DUIDLA), and the Trial Lawyers College.

My engineering background, combined with numerous certifications in forensic sciences, certainly gave me unique skills for analyzing and solving complex problems. Having been on the “other side of the desk” as a client of an attorney gives me the understanding and compassion to truly appreciate what my clients are going through. To me, it’s not about billable hours or how fast I can close a case. I know that my representation affects many lives, and I take that responsibility seriously.

Maybe it’s because of what I’ve been through, but my clients soon learn that I am a different type of lawyer … a criminal defense warrior who listens and truly understands that it’s not just a case – it’s someone’s life.
